Couple of can do a style show like Nicolas Ghesquière and Louis Vuitton, and this season the brand held its show at an iconic Parisian landmark: the Louvre. The vibrant, airy presentation featured a plethora of new bags, all inspired by ancient Roman and Grecian occasions. It was these eras that forged the essence of civilization as we know it, and this collection’s aesthetic relies on these notions as Ghesquière embarks on a journey back in time.
The Louis Vuitton FW 21 collection capabilities a slew of bags each new and old, like shapes like the Keepall, Alma, Dauphine and Petite Malle. Quite a few of the bags incorporate delicate artwork by Italian Atelier Fornasetti. The LV x Fornasetti capsule consists of reiterations of Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram featuring hand-drawn illustrations as nicely as leather bags embossed with sculptural faces.
Ghesquiere also presents a new shape, known as the Troca, which capabilities exaggerated embroidered Damier quilted leather and a removable chain. The Utility crossbody from spring seems on the runway once again as nicely, this time featuring exotic specifics.
